Pls help before I BBQ this notebook…….

Hi All,

Working on this Compaq V2401AU notebook.
Been reinstalling fresh XP SP2, everytime I install drivers,
on reboot the XP will hang on the startup blue screen with the XP logo.

Tried resitting rams and using lastest drivers but to avail.

System;
AMD Sempron 3000
256mb X 2
40gb HDD
ATi Radeon Xpress 200M

Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance.
