Mmmm a Dell GX150... some old system with win 98 i think?

anway, try to "force" the available interrupts to the cards. go to device manager and switch some stuff off the p&p.

Also in safe-mode delete the interrupt-place holders.
it will forcewindows when in normal mode again to re-assign some interrupts to the cards available.

sometimes you have to make things worse in order to get a system working again;:-))

Os is windows98. When i remove the modem and drivers no problem. Once I reinstal the modem and boot up I immediately get a plug and play error, and it tells me to hit F1 to continue. I can get past it by hitting F1 and the modem will work, but the error has me stumped.
