plz help me

am facing problems in installing Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 and any other Linux operating system on my Toshiba Satellite A200 notebook which was shipped with Windows Vista Home Basic.

All version on Windows Vista can be installed on it ie Vista Ultimate or Windows Server 2008 beta ie the versions having Vista Engine.

When i install XP it cant find out my Harddiskdrive and same is the case with Windows Server 2003 and other Microsoft Operating Systems

Your laptop has a SATA hard-drive, and you need the drivers...

For the SATA HDD.

You'll also require access to a 3.5.inch floppy drive, because that is the only medium that can install SATA drivers.

Very early in the XP installation, you have to press F6 to instigate the loading of SATA drivers so that the XP installer can 'see' your hard-drive.

And this Hardware isn't supported by Older Versions of Windows or Linux though the newer version of Linux should load without problems.

If you can not access a Floppy to load the Drivers from by pressing the F6 Key when the very first Blue Screen appears on the XP Install you can make a Slipstreamed CD to install Windows from by following the directions here. While it's mainly about adding the SP2 Package you can also add the necessary drivers that you need for hardware
