OS-Windows 98
Was running a Standard CD-ROM on Secondary IDE as master with Phillips CD/RW as slave.
Replaced the Phillips with Ricoh CD/RW. On Bootup to Win98 neither CD-ROM was loaded.
In the system settings there was a conflict shown (System Board Extension for PNP Bios).
I disconnected the Standard CD-ROM and connected the Ricoh as the only CD-ROM and windows picked up on it with no problem. The conflict was still listed in the system settings. Win98 locked up a couple of times afterthis. There is still a hardware conflict somewhere. I would like to have both CD-ROMs running as before.
