    Point to Point T1 problems

    Locked

    by warwickmt ·

I have a Point to Point T1 that keeps shutting down. I am rather new to Cisco so I don’t know all of the tools that I have at my disposal. I have been in constant communication with my provider and they have done loopback test to “prove” it is not their problem. I am not so sure, but I don’t know how to prove them wrong. What I do know is that I can reload one of the routers and the circuit typically comes back up for awhile. I have noticed that before it goes down, I start to receive lots of inputs errors. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

      Same Problem here

I have virtually the same problem.

The T1 line will be up for a couple of hour and then down a few hours.

The T1 provider has tested many times and always test good to their equipment and have even made some changes trying to help the situation.

Cisco has said the equipment is functioning properly. We have done loop back test…etc..

One T1 tech suggested the clock source was the problem, but made those changes and still not working correctly.

This has been going on for several weeks.
