Have absolutely nothing to do with Google. The other points, however, are very relevant and should be addressed. Especially the Microsoft tax. After reading the patents thanks to B&N making them public and pulling back the curtain, one can see those patents are complete nonsense and would never survive in court…the problem is that most companies can’t afford an extended court battle against MS and found it easier and cheaper to just pay the fee.
