How do i configure system policy editor for users exept Admin. when i do it sometime, it wont take effect.
please explain to me the exact way

1.)Do you have BDC running on your domain? If so, then you need to copy the NTcondig.pol file to the same directory on each BDC. This is because BDC sometimes take over the logon process if your PDC is busy.

2.) To do a policy just for users. usegroup policy instead of individual users. I have groups like Main Users, Internet Users etc. and then the policy for the group.

A couple of things to check. Load group policies on the individual machines. Go to control panel-add programs-windows setup-have disk-Win95-located in admin-apptools-poledit on 95 CD. Also check in passwords-profiles-be sure users can customize their settings and desktop.On win9X machines config.pol must rerside in Netlogon share on all domain controllers. also create an administrator user with no restrictions.
