I run two computer labs with 40 computers – running WINNT 4.0 with latest service pack and 20 running Win XP Pro. Our server is also NT. The problem is the profile I use to log in keeps filling up with all these files called ntuser.dat.pol.temp (and then temp will repeat up to 50 times). How can I keep these files from being created. (The Win XP Pro machines will not log on because of the long name.)
