I had a website running on IIS4 with excellent performance. I moved it to a faster box with Win2k and IIS5 and now the speed is far slower. There is no bandwidth throttling, minimal use of resources (memory, paging, disk, cpu, bandwidth), very fewusers. Normal access to this box is fast. Just the web site is slow. This is a powerful server with very little load on it… what could cause this slowdown?
