Pop Chat for XP?

I have Win XP (pro) and Win 95 on the same network (LAN). Before upgrading to XP we used to use Pop Chat on our LAN. With XP it doesn’t work any more. Is there something similar, small in size & free that I could use? Or is there a simple small Linux chat server that I could put on our Linux box for chatting between the XP and 95?
