I am a consultant working with compaq at surat. We have a large no. of client database installed. We are facing a problem when configuring any email clients with pop address. We had tried almost all client s/w. We have a radio link, leaseline from vsnl. We also have firewall and a proxy server installed. But we are getting error that pop address given by us is not correct. As yahoo is having it’s pop address :pop.mail.yahoo.com it is said to be incorrect by all the clients. We can easily configure hotmail which is having http protocol. So please guide my how i can use my mail clients for my yahoo and other pop mail services.
