Hey everyone,
I have a friend who uses Broadband & AOL to connect, Win XP is the OS (uses the AOL Browser), can anyone recommend a free pop-up blocker/killer that is pretty much free of spyware & add-on’s or bloat that is fairly easy to install &use (the user will not be the sharpest tack in the box as far as users go, if you get my drift), and will also allow easy turn off of the utility to still allow him to go to Windows Update in the future,(and other places he finds necessary)?
I use the Mozilla Browser myself most of the time and just use IE6 to access Win UD and have never been near an AOL browser as there is no local dial-up # here locally. With Mozilla I really haven’t done much experimentation w/ pop-up blockers/killers.
