I need to know the best solution for is for allowing access through a firewall. I was setting up a client to allow web hosting, ftp, email, ssl through a sonicwall pro 100. I suggested we use nat and a co-worker suggested using the dmz. I need toknow what is best for the client. What are the differences between using nat vs. using a DMZ? Security concerns with both? Ease of administration? Shouldn’t the rules be sufficient when using nat?
