I had got my old laptop hard disk portable with casing and a USB connection which I have been using without any problems on my pc. But a few days back i am experiencing this problem of the hard disk not been recognized or detected on ‘my computer’. Power is being transferred to the drive which can be seen from the steady green light on it. However I do not see any blinking red light as was the usual case. I checked up on other machines and found that the device is not recognized there too..
Pls let me know what the pblm could be? If its something irreversible how do i retrieve my data? Thanks
