By anthonyestremera ·
So i been dabbling with my company's equipment. Long ago they bought a pos system. They had the ticket printer, regster, scanner, and software. But before i joined them they lost it. A long time ago.

So okay my question is..what is the best POS software? I tried telenet which i didnt like (trial). And quickbooks pos 4.0. and now retailman. My problem is i can't figure out how to make the computer recognize the cash register which is already connected to the printer

I think if you do a cash or card purchase it should open the till draw.

But i think you will have to read up on the info to find out, or phone up Quickbooks and see if they can give you peace of mind about your issue. I will have another look to see.

Pointofsale software

by PointofsaleNews In reply to POS Software

It really depends on what the application is. There are thousands of POS software products on the market. A Google search that included the niche your retail store is in, would likely bring a decent selection of choices.
