Well, as not being familiar with the above particulars (even after spending the last 5 hrs trying to read & resolve) could anyone help me? This alert was on monitor this morn after trying to defrag Dell laptop, Windows XP; SP3 “possible C:drive corrupted… run chkdsk/.” Well, can this be done from the command line or do I need XP install CD to find the recovery console or is there a better way to check for corrupted disk & fix…I’m not very comfortable diving into unknown waters.
I’m not even sure there is a prob as the laptop seems to be running as normal, SNAFU!
