I recently installed a firewall because I went from a dial-up to broadband connection to access the internet.
Needles to say I was quite suprised to find a program trying to access the internet when I started my computer.
The program is named wpbewvbb.exe.
It also seems to have something to do with launching notepad which also attempts to access the internet.
I did a little investigating and found out that the wpbewvbb program is set to launch from my windows ini file.
Could this be avirus or trojin?
To my knowledge I have no programs that need to access the internet when my computer boots into windows.
I intend to delete this file but I am not shure if it would interfere with windows or something else.
Any sugestionswould be appreciated.
