Post Upgrading-Saving Docs to Network

I just upgraded a user to W2K and he is now having problems saving to a share on the network. He gets the following Windows error:
An error occurred while reconnecting P: to \\servername\public
Microsoft Windows Network: The local device name is already in use.
This connection has not been restored.

You only have the option of OK and then the error comes up again. Once you click on OK again the error goes away and the document is saved.
