Power Button light on XPS M1530 running Vista

by sjamieson . Updated 14 years, 9 months ago

Power button light on XPS M1530 Vista does not reflect the state of the system, (ie. powered up, standby, etc). It lights up momentarily on power up, but that’s it. Some of my users keep pressing the button when the screen doesn’t turn on immediately, so it would be nice for them to have some indication that the system is in fact booting up. I was under the impression that this indicator light used to flash or stay on solid depending on the state of the system.
