I’m stumped as to why it will not connect. The Powerline is connected to the house router via Ethernet. I cannot see the Extender as it IP address is 19.168.10.1 vs house router 192.168.1.254. In the early days, the were separate devices – a modem, a router (Ethernet),/NAT and finally WiFi add-on later on. Today it’s a combo. I think my Extender connection is at the route/NAT level since this device has it’s own IP addresses and doesn’t need DHCP. My assumptions so far.
I think the Firewall is blocking the Extender IPs. The AT&T 5268ac router can assign pinhole apps to access the network. I know nothing about DMZ.
