I am using a WIN XP Home edition. The OS cannot load because I kept on getting this error message. “Power saving enable, this monitor will shut down in few seconds”. And yes! the monitor will shut off. I thought my problem was monitor related and I switch to another monitor which was working fine. As I try to boot the system up, I have another message. It reads, “DPMS set to OFF mode. The system shuts off by itself, comes back on and never pass this stage of showing the error message. I understand the DPMS are signals that are controlled by the OS, but I did not know what I need to do to have this disabled or take care of the problem.
Can somebody help please?
