Power Supply

By curtong ·
My keyboard does not response when I hitted a key.
So I tried to change a new keyboard and the monitor does not show anything. The fan for the motherboard is not moving, so I changed the power supply and tha same thing happened. Is the problem due to the keyboard connector?

With the symptons you have described and the troubleshooting you have done it seems as though your motherboard is the problem

One other possibility. If you changed keyboards without turning PC off, you may have blown a fuse in the keyboard circit (keyboards have 5vdc power applied). Some mobos have a resettable fuse. You need to check mobo documentation to see if that is the case and how to reset.
