He mentioned that the power had to be permanently connected …forever…or you’d lose all the data since the mod. Does that mean that the drive has to be powered by some type of backup battery? What about power outages? I would love nothing more than to increase the capacity of my current TIVO, but if that’s the case….then it would’nt be a good enough option.
