power supply problems

I have a sony viao pc w/xphome edition. I couldn’t get the os to load. kept getting a black screen after “install”. I disconnected all connections but now the computer won’t boot up! I don’t have a tester for the power supply so not sure what else to do! Help!

If you remove all connections from your power supply, does the fan run? next if you plung in the power to your cpu and motherboard do you receive a light on the motherboard? slow try this process, one thing at a time to ensure that there are no loose onnections
