Power uesrs rights

By hamatt77 ·
hi,
In some cases I have to give the user a power user rights to allow him to do some tasks in windows 2000, for example in Microsoft word, the dictionary could not be access unless the user is power user or administrator. Is there any solution forthat and how can I limit the power user rights??
thanks

You don't have to give Power User or Administrative rights to a User on the Domain, just on the local machine. Go to local users on the machine you are on (right click my computer and select manage) and make the user an administrator on the local machine. That allows them to change the dictionary files (add a word) and the like. The domain priveleges will not be affected.
