How do I get around the power up password if the user has forgotten his password?

1)One of two options you have is to use Search
Find Files or Folders,type *.pwl and click the search button,delete all .pwl found and reboot,you can then reset user name and password
2)Using system edit,go to system.ini,then search for *.pwl and delete all,reboot computer and then reset the password,or leave blank and you will not be prompted for password again.

I forgot to mention that the only screen that comes up requests the password and will not recieve any other input, I need to know how to bypass this screen..

Sounds like you're talking about the BIOS password. You need to open up the case and lock for the BIOS (CMOS) chip. There may be a jumper next to it. Removing the jumper will reset the BIOS defaults and clear the password. If there's no jumper, you can achieve the same result by locating and temporarily removing the CMOS battery.
