Poweredge 6350

I have just procurred a Dell Poweredge 6350/500
At post i get the message sizing memory. please wait. this never goes away. the memory is configured to 4Gb with 4 p3 xeon's
Ive tried removing part of the ram and all and a few different configurations but to no avail
any help out there?

Update
I pulled all the dims and reset them and it seems to work ok now but there are other problems with this machine, so im not sure what i will do with it yet.

back into the BIOS and saved the settings after you made the changes.

Check the memory

Sometimes random lockups can be attributed to the computer memory starting to fail. You can test the memory by running Windows Memory Diagnostic that can be downloaded from http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp. If memory problems are found, try re-seating the RAM. If it doesn't work, replace the defective RAM.

You said you just procured, then your Machine may be under warranty. Contact DELL support. If the machine is newly procured then DELL will also have first time installation clause.
