Powering off NT 4.0 Workstation

If I understand you correctly, you want NT to power off after shutdown rather than offer you to rebbot. To do this you need to change one registry key:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\PowerDownAfterShutdown:REG_SZ:1
Setting the REG_SZ value to 1 enables the auto power down. If you enable the PowerDownAfterShutdown option in the registry, clicking Shut Down The Computer on the Shut Down menu automatically powers down the computer when Windows NT is finished shutting down (if this feature is supported by the computer's BIOS).

The question is:When the user selects to shut down his NT 4.0 workstation and gets prompted with the "It is now safe to turn you computer off or press R to restart". When the user presses the on/off button to power the computer off it reboots at this time. The previous answer about editing the registry did not fix the problem.
