I have a user running W98 on a laptop with Office 2000 (no service releases). When he tries to insert a video clip (automatic run or non-automatic) Powerpoint freezes. We have uninstalled and reinstalled Office. We have completely wiped out the laptop and started with the restore disk as well as giving the user another laptop. The user indicated he was able to run the video in his old laptop from prior employer running W98 and Office 2000. We can run the video clip using Windows Media player but cannot insert it into the presentation. Any suggestions?
