PowerPoint 2003

I can make a slide show and put audio with it but when i send it to another computer via email it loses the audio file.
How do I get an audio file to stay with the slide show when i email it?

Are you embedding the object into the slide or merely linking to it?

Need more information please. I have been through the help files with Office & on the M/S website, but cannot find "how to embed" I make the slide show then use the "insert" function to insert the audio file. I save this as a slideshow file and then email it but the audio does not go with it. what am I missing?

What is the source of your audio?

I've run into this same problem myself and the only way that I have found to fix it, is to make sure the audio file is also moved to the receiving computer. I have had to transfer the slideshow and the audio files separately to make them work. And then sometimes there is a bit of tweaking to make sure the audio and visuals are in sync.
