PowerPoint 97 'Apply Design' Feature

By aburrus08 ·
Is there a way to apply a different design to more than one slide in a presentation. A user has asked if this can be done. For example, on Slide one he wants the design "Blush", on Slide two he wants the design "Fans", and so on and so on. I cannot figure out how to do this or if it can even be done.

Actually I'm pretty sure that what you want is *not* available as a built-in feature of PPT97. If I remember correctly, the best you can do is fake it. Create an extra presentation using the second design you want to use. Copy a blank slide, and then paste in *on* one of the slides in your real presentation. (It should paste as some sort of image.) Then resize it so that is covers the full slide, send it to the back, and get on with adding your text, etc.
