I’ve been helping a user who’s trying to view a file from HP: On http://www.hp.com/solutions1/e-services/infolibrary/index.html it’s the third link, Corporate Employee Portals Deliver the Edge (PowerPoint). The file downloads fine, but opening it usually crashes Ppt, or if I let it run for 5-10 minutes, opens an illegible slide full of gibberish. After about three weeks of back and forth with HPs tech support, they’re telling me it’s a problem on our end. I’ve tried it from work and from home, on Win 95, 98, NT and 2000, with PowerPoint 97, 2000 and XP, no luck anywhere. Can anyone else open this file and get a valid ppt presentation?
