PowerPoint how to:Printing 2 slides/page

By dev_model.com ·
We are printing two slides per page on 8-1/2 by 11 paper, (portrait setting) printing 2 slides per page(one on top of the other), (slides printed in landscape setting)
The problem is we have tried everything to get rid of the hugh amount of whitespace we keep getting. Any hints on how to get the slides to print out about 7-1/2 inches wide?, the widest we can get is about 4 inches wide.

PowerPoint's automatic sizing keeps your slides professional looking when printed. The default print size for 2 slides per page printed portait setting is 5" wide, 6 1/4" diagonal. Anything wider would't be able to fit 2 slides to a page without horizontally distorting graphics and print.

The only thing I disagree with is that Mircosoft thinks the amount of whitespace is directly proportional to the "professional look".
Haven't they ever heard of a rule of thumb?

Anyways, your right, looks like there is no way to overcome this.
