Preinstall drivers on hardware

By BPALACIOS_333 ·
I have a 40GB mp3 player that can function as an external hard drive. The problem is if I want to use it on a new machine (e.g. at school) I have to load the drivers on it first. I wanted to know if there was a way I could preinstall the drivers on my mp3 player so that when I hook it up to a new machine it would automatically recognize it, sort of like it does when you plug in a flash drive.

NO.

For this to be possible the device has to be reconized and then load the drivers. If it can not be reconized it then naturally follows that you can no tinstall the drivers from that device.

However you could copu the drivers to a uSB Memory stick and use that to install the necessary drivers.
