Does anyone know of a tool that prevents spyware infections (specifically changes to the registry) without asking the user to approve or deny changes?
I’ve looked at tools like Lavasoft’s Ad-Watch, Spybot’s Tea Timer, Microsoft’s AntiSpyware, etc, but each tool pops up a message when a change is attempted. That would mean lots more calls for us – no thanks.
I’d rather be able to block such changes silently. I am looking into the possiblity of making our users a member of Users on the local PC, but it’s going to take a lot of research and time before that can happen. Any suggestions for the meantime?
