Preventing access to control pannel

I would like to prevent the access to the control pannel on a particular user in windows 2000 professional OS.

remove the READ permission for particular users/groups.

You can use Group Policy Objects if you're in an AD Domain. Otherwise right click My Computer, select Manage, navigate to local security settings and you can turn it off (among other no no's for users) in there. Can't remember the exact paths but just do some exploring in there and you should find it.
