The PB is a PITA to install a HD over 12 gig in, exspecially as a slave. It will install it as a master, but the drive will need to be partitioned no bigger than 8 gig scections. The bios will not read it as a slave.

Try updating the drivers to the controllers
Flashing the BIOS may help in recognizing the larger hard drive,do this with caution
There is a solution on the microsoft knowledgebase web site, that involves editing the registry.

Hello,

Have you set the HDD's jumpers to slave? it shouldn't matter which drive is master or slave as long as the jumpers are set correctly. Otherwise put the 15gig drive on the secondary IDE.
Hope this helps.

Check you have the new hard drive set to a slave. You say when you remove the new drive its ok.

Have you tried the new drive as secondary master, you may have to disconnect the CDROM to try this. If this is then OK set the CDROM as a slave to one of the hard drives.

Hope this helps.

If it does work and the BIOS does not see the drive as a 15GB drive get the disk management software from the HDD makers website.

Contact me if you need help in doint this.
