This may not be possible

In order to print, you need a printer driver (DOS driver of course) that you can load to memory and use to send the print file to the printer via IP address. The problem is that no one programs DOS drivers anymore. Since your printer is a Dell, if Dell cannot supply a driver, you're pretty much SOL.

Sorry.

longshot

I presume that your workstations print to the printer by IP? Also do you print to it using PCL or Postscript?

Here's one possibility, SHARE the printer from one of the workstations, and for simplicity, share it at the workstation which runs the DOS App. Let's say this workstation name is "WS1" and that you share the printer as "D5200"

Launch a cmd prompt and before launching the DOS APP, enter:
net use lpt1: \\ws1\d5200
(substitute the real workstation name and share name above)

Now launch the DOS App from this same cmd prompt and see if it will print.

NOTE: in the DOS App, treat the printer as if it's installed on LPT1. ALso, if your windows driver for this printer is a PCL driver, then in the DOS App, treat the printer as if it's some form of an HP Laser Printer. If your Windows print driver is a Postscript driver, then in the DOS App, treat the printer as if it's a form of an Apple Laserwriter

Again, this is a longshot, but good luck.

If you're intention here is to peddle your wares, then you'll find that you won't be here very long.
