Print Jobs log

By ghaeedansiyamack ·

Someone in our office has printed an inappropriate picture from the web from an unknown computer to a printer on the network (Printer is located in a different office on a different floor). We have searched the security logs on the server for that day and we have narrowed the location of the machine where the print job was sent from down to a specific floor. However, we are unable to exactly determine which machine exactly this print job came from. The printer is a HP Laserjet 4100. The machines are connected to a near by printer using the LPR option (99% of the printers are not on a print server yet).
I have connected to the printer via IE and tried to locate a ?Print job log?, but I was unable to. Is there any other way I can locate and find out where this print job exactly came from?
Any help I would appreciate so I can get the Human Resources off my back.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you very much for the link, and I am sorry for my late reply. It appears to be a VERY interesting software, but I am worried about security of this product. Is this software actually pretty safe?
