print logging software?

By Seadogs ·
Does anyone have good suggestions for an affordable way to electronically track print jobs to printers, plotters, networked copiers, and faxes? We have 2 offices with a total of 200 or so people running NT/2000 networks. We're looking for something so that you have to enter a job number before you can plot/print/copy/fax etc to ease billing issues. THanks!

A company that provides a system for this, but based in Australia, is Billback - http://www.billback.com.au/

They are good to deal with. We have used their expense management systems for many years.

Our office is looking at Equatrax. It gives the ability to track everything that goes through the server. It forces the end user to fill out the required fields before it will print/plot or what ever you need.
