Print Migrator 3 – Workstation Changes?

Hi all,

I hope I can find some help here on a topic I’ve been researching for a while.

My company has an aging NT 4 print server with 25 printers served from it. A few months ago, we added a new 2000 box which currently hosts 10 printers. The old box has got to go, and the printers need to be moved to the new machine.

If I run print migrator, and merge the two sets of printers, what will my help desk have to do on the client end?

If my new box already has the port monitors, willI need to prep it in any other way before I restore the backup?

Any advice with or without experience in the matter is
appreciated.
