The problem looks like this: when I choose print->preferences, the dialog box doesn't allow me to see all the options. A protion of the right and bottem sides is cut off and the box is not resizeable. I have no idea when it started because I seldom use that feature. I would guess that it has been at least a year since I first noticed it but it never actually caused me trouble (that I was aware of) so I ignored it. :-) Last month I attempted to install a new program. When the user agreement window displayed it had a scrollable text area but, once again the window had the bottem and right sides cut off so that I could not access the option buttons to accept the user agreement...so the next button was greyed out. The only option was to cancel.
Anyone heard this one before? How do I troubleshoot it? I'm guessing that one of my graphic programs has overwritten something. Am I on the "write" track? Help!!

what are your display settings at? I keep my resolution at 1024x768 (and Highest color quality)
That way I never have problems viewing websites or dialog boxes.
One of my co-workers keeps her resolution lower and it often cuts off websites and dialog boxes. Dialog boxes are not resizable and do not adjust themselves to fit with your resolution. They are set in their program to display as a certain size and that's that. So check your display resolution first.
yep. that was it. Not sure how the display was changed from 96 dpi to 120 (that is the real mystery) but when I set it back to 96 the forms displayed ok. Thanks for your help.
