print queue locks / system log gives win32 error

I am using windows xp professional with a netowkr printer installed through an hp jet direct device.
I am able to print to my printer for a while but then my print queue locks up and does not let anymore print jobs go through.

I looked in the system log and I get the following error message:

The document Crystal Reports - kstrip.rpt owned by Guest failed to print. Win32 error code returned by the print processor: 259 (0x103).

I am able to stop and restart the spooler service on the pc and clear the log. Once I clear the log things work again but I am not sure how to make sure that this does not does not continue to happen.
