Print screen to html

By davoud ·
Hi all,

I am loking for a program in windows environment capable of converting print screens to html. What I am trying to accomplish is to convert a print screen (pictures, jpeg, TIF ,etc) to html so that a webpage, which includes those pictures, could be downloaded faster.

I am aware of thegrab, thedraw and scr2htm11 programs. See the following link:

but as i see thegrab cannot grab the print screens with high resolution.

Any advice would be appreciated.

it's the file size of the image that slows the page down.

high resolution images are slow downloading.

( 1024 by 768 at 72 dpi is fatser than 1024 by 768 at 600 dpi )

.tif is the absolute last image type to use online.
gif, png, mng, jpg are the formats designed for web transfer.
they have the smaller filesize to keep downloads quicker.

Thanks for your message Jaqui. But you did not answer my question. Yes I understand the file types and the sizes.
