I have a classroom with 30 win 98 workstations and an nt 4.0 dedicated print server with a hp laser jet 4L.
We are using ms word 2000 as an html editor for front page.
we can print to the server from any application except ms word 2000 when this is attempted the workstation will lock and ahve to be restarted to be able to print again.
I have tried different printers (epson) and have uninstalled word and reinstalled to no avail however it will work fine with word ’97.
the version of ms word 2000 that came with these system is with ms works suite 2000 with the word for works add in.
could this be the problem?
