I have installed a print server (CNET CNP430 B) with HP DesignJet 500 in our network. The IP address I configure it manually. When configuring a workstation to be link with the print server it asked me for the password. I can not remember the password I used. I have removed & reinstall the program but still it is looking for the password.
Can anybody there help me with this problem? Thank you very much

Hi, I went to the CNET website and could not find a manual for this model. You can look to see if there is a reset switch on the print server. This will usually be a small hole that will be marked " reset ". Should your print server have this reset, simply use a straightened paperclip, or something similar, and press the reset switch for several seconds. This will reset the print server back to factory default, including the admin password.
Poster rated this answer. Thank you for your effort but there is no reset switch with this print server. After posting this last night, I went to the CNET website and I found an over-riding password "PSPASS" With this I have opened the control panel of the print server. Again thank you very much for your effort. God bless
