I have a home network setup with an XP pc and a Vista laptop. I have a US Robotics 5461 router/print server. When my laptop had XP I could add the printer and could print. When I updated to Vista it lets me add the printer but won’t print. I added it as a network printer http://192.168.2.1:1631/printers/My_Printer
adding a generic HP990c printer with Vista drivers. I have an HP2410 All in One but was told to add it as a 990c in XP. I did that with vista and also tried adding the printer as a 2410 but neither one works. US Robotics website says that the router does not work by operating systems so it doesn’t matter which O/S I have. Also tried adding it as a local printer instead of a network printer which was suggested on a forum. That didn’t work either. Any suggestions. Thanks, Lori
