Print Spool

By hseashore ·
IN Windows 2000, is there a way to monitor a folder and print a postscript file as soon as the file is dropped to the folder? In other words, when a user prints to a file and creates a postscript file (filename.ps) in a folder designated, can Windows 2000 automatically print that file?

You would have to write a custom batch script that did this function. There isn't anything out of the box that will do it.

The batch script in rough terms would need to :-

- Sleep for 5 minutes
- Look to see if there were any files
- Print the files
- End

Thanks
