Print Spooler Message Off

How do you disable print spooler messaging from one set. The PC was upgraded from win98 and office 97 pro to win2000 pro and office 2000 pro. Since the upgrade, everytime he sends a job to a network printer he gets the message that the job is finished printing. There is an Exchange server and NT server on the network. How do you disable this feature on this set?
