Print two copies of report in MS Acces

By abadillo ·
How can I set Microsoft Access to print two copies of a report. I want to do it at software level not hardware level. Thanks!

Am I stupid or are you? The report should first appear in print preview. The user then types ALT F/P and is asked how many copies (s)he wants.

Thanks! Maybe I am stupid for not explaining myself well. I know how to do that, but in this case this is a custom invoicing application. I am trying to do things easier for the user. I want the application to print two copies of an invoice automatically. I know there's a PrtDevMode property that sets or returns the printing device mode information specified for a form or report in the "Print" dialog box. I was wondering if somebdoy out there had used this property. Thanks!

Here's two possibilities:

1. Use the PrintOut Method. This requires that you open the report first:

DoCmd.OpenReport "TheReportName", A_PREVIEW 'open the report in preview mode
DoCmd.PrintOut acPages, , , , 2
DoCmd.Close 'close the preview

2. This is not very elegant, but use a loop:

For x = 1 To 2
DoCmd.OpenReport "TheReportName", A_NORMAL
Next x

The first method is better but both work.
